Hello Ladies! This one’s for you. We work with a lot of women here at Maxfit, and nothing makes us happier than to see you guys progress with your health and fitness. There is one thing that everyone struggles with (even me) and it is being comfortable in your own body. At times, the lack of self-confidence can ruin your day, and opportunities to improve your life that you deserve.
You work hard and you deserve to shine. Remember, you are NOT alone and there are ways you can start to boost your confidence in the sky. There are a lot of simple things you can start doing every day that will make you feel better inside and out.
Look in the mirror every morning and say out loud 3 things you love about yourself: This is a great thing to get into the habit of because it allows you to find positive personal attributes rather than negative ones. It’s recommended in the morning because it creates a much better vibe throughout the day, but feel free to do it before bed as well.
Focus on what you have, and not what you don’t have: Yes this is a little cliche, but with the difficult tasks in life, we tend to forget about all of the great people and experiences we have earned over the years. Think about what makes you special and run with that. Call up a friend who you haven’t spoken to in a while and catch up.

Learn a new skill, or read a new book about a topic that interests you: When you are constantly improving yourself, you will start to feel more confident in your abilities. When you read more, you can hold up longer in a conversation. You will have knowledge that you can share which will make you more valuable and desirable.
Avoid feelings of envy: It’s normal to be jealous or to want something that doesn’t belong to you. Unfortunately, these feelings will bring you down 9 times out of 10. Instead of having negative feelings towards friends or other people who are more successful than you, show them some love. Next time, like their photos, comment on how proud you are of their success. Try and learn from them to make yourself better. This will show that you are more confident in yourself. It also creates a better environment and makes you more pleasant to be around.
Lacking confidence is something many of us have to deal with every day. We struggle with it from time to time. Take it from someone who has been down that road and knows the way out. Keep your head up high, and shine like the star you are.
